I ask because I like console, but at the same time have difficulties remembering all the commands. I’d like to try a GUI that is comfortable to use with only a keyboard.

Definitely agree. Ime, if you only rely on gui you’ll eventually end up in a situation where things are fucked and a gui doesn’t have the features you need to fix it.
