    You have to be joking. We are literally shooting at people trying to cross the border. The “legal” routes are dogshit apps which do not even work properly leaving families in limbo waiting at the border. The “legal” routes can take years while you and your family starves or suffers or is even killed. Why don’t you do some research and tell me the easiest most practical way to become a citizen? Or at least get a green card.

      Do some research on other countries. The US is actually really open. Some countries have point systems, so you need some combination of enough assets, a degree, an in demand profession, a family lineage to the country, speaking the main language, or having a job offer.

      Even if they don’t have a point system many countries require documentation that you won’t be a financial burden on the country to get in.

        I know very well what other countries’ policies are. To say the US has a good system because its less terrible or restrictive isn’t a good argument. It’s still a nightmare for those seeking asylum or otherwise
