I had been feeling a bit drawn in to reddit for the past few months before the divorce. I feel like the slower pace at which content comes out on Lemmy is good for me in that way. I can’t just scroll and scroll and scroll my entire day away.
Does anyone else feel similar?
I feel like sorting by new on reddit for many years has just kinda been a cesspool. Like 1 post worth seeing per page lol
Yup. And the amount of not-so-subtly sponsored posts got way too obvious to ignore. Like idk if they get click shared revenue or just want more engagement with certain posts for some other reason, but there’s no legitimate reason why the same exact <100 word article loaded with embedded ads every ten words would be posted to 30 different subs by different accounts.
