I feel like I got in on the last of well built Whirlpool before it went downhill. The washer and dryer and dishwasher that came with my house twenty years ago are still going. Yeah, I have to fix something minor in the dishwasher every six months or so, the washing machine has an occasional leak if it’s not sitting just right, and the dryer rattles something awful, but they still get the job done just as well as they did when we moved in.
