    In case it helps, when people say “same port” they are probably assuming (or should be) that means multiple systems are involved.

    For example, running two Plex servers on different hardware, but exposing both to the outside internet as separate hostnames. Each computer can use the same port from their perspective, but the reverse proxy serves to route outside traffic to the right internal system (by IP address).
