"Any congressional resolutions to censure or expel Ogles?" asked one commentator.

    I immediately stop listening to anyone that is calling the current situation genocide. No better way to tell me that your opinion is worthless than to use words incorrectly.

        Removed for rule 3, attack the ideas, not the person.

      The UN Convention on Genocide defines it like this:

      https://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/genocide.shtml

      "a) Killing members of the group;

      b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

      c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

      d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;

      e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

      So, point for point, the only one Israel hasn’t done in Gaza is “e”. But to be clear, you don’t have to hit all 5 to be a genocide, just one is enough. Russia is hitting all 5 in Ukraine.

        Yes exactly, the slaughter on 10/7 WAS genocide.

          A repressed people cannot commit genocide against their repressors.

            Great, so Israel can’t commit genocide against Palestinians due to 80 years of oppression through terrorist attacks?

              I’d hardly call what the Palestinians do “oppression”, they aren’t in a position to oppress anyone.

                  Tell that to the Palestenians they’ve ghettoized for 30 years.
