    The problem is that a large part of his success is loudly creating his “genius” persona that brings in investors.

    But when that persona went full right-wing conservative racist troll, that may have won him some supporters but lost many others.

      Any success behind him has just purely been because he’s a walking money bag, otherwise he just seems like a hindrance.
