    Believe it or not climate has had more to do with the snow crabs. Rising ocean temperatures are causing snow crabs to run to smaller pockets of cold water. Then their high metabolism forces them to eat each other when food is scarce.

    I remember when the news broke last year I went out and had some before the price went up and in case they end up actually extinct. 10/10 with rice.

    Funny, but for real, we didn’t fish them out. They were there one year, and gone the next. Thoughts are they migrated somewhere deeper due to changing water temperatures.
