More a case of, When I look at my side’s meme, it’s humorous relief at the horror of the other side’s madness. When I look at the other side’s meme, it’s dumb echo chamber and propaganda. When they look at their meme, they’re dumb and reinforcing their dumb biases with no thought. When they look at my meme, it challenges them to think and they don’t like that.
