Could be anything, maybe they could get popular and implemented into the app (Jerboa for example) as well?

Perhaps : Upvote = uplem Downvote = downlem

Or whatevers people like more. Waiting for ideas!

I don’t see anything wrong with upvote or down vote. I don’t think that’s a reddit specific thing. I’m voting, and that’s an up arrow.

There’s nothing wrong with simple upvote/downvote. The best alternative is thumbs up/down.

No, no no. This community existed long before us redditors showed up and I’m all for adopting a new community but let’s use the terms that have been here for years instead of showing up and taking over the place. There’s no Sublems, Sublemmys, uplems or downlems. There are communities, upvotes, and downvotes. This site has been around for years, we’ve been here less than a week. Stuff like this is why Beehaw and others are defederating. Adapt to your new home, don’t try to force those kind enough to take us in to adapt to us.

Lift and sink, is that anything?

Nothing wrong with upvote and downvote, but inventing our own jargon for it is worthwhile too, and can help foster the community attitude we want. You like something, you lift it up. Want it gone faster, you sink it.

There’s no need to replace the current terms, but there’s nothing wrong with adding to them either.
