A girl my year was almost killed by a crazy homeless guy while walking to school. She got stabbed 17 times, if I remember correctly, including once in the neck.
She survived. Didn’t take that trail to school anymore after she’d healed up.
Another girl died in a go-kart accident. Not like, hook a lawn mower motor to a frame go-kart, but a racing kart where she raced in a league. She went straight into a wall, and her heart dislodged inside her chest. Nothing obviously wrong with her, just instantly dead.
