ICE aren’t growing much in size and are getting more and more efficient. Why not make them air cooled? Porches used to be aircooled, and those were performance cars with the engine in the back. I would imagine having an engine in the front might be easier to cool, no?

    It won’t make a comeback. Regular ICE cars are already under threat especially from europe to be phased out by 2035. Doubt any manufacturer is going to put in time and effort into developing a modern variant of air cooled technology, although if Porsche ever did that again I will do whatever it takes for that car.
