The article says The proposal mirrors a similar move in London where a new rail line was called the Elizabeth Line But it’s even more similar than that. The workong name for the Elizabeth Line was “Cross Rail”. Which sounds awfully similar to “Cross River Rail”. But also, since when did we name lines that way? All our lines are named for their terminus. There’s no reason that should change.
