They nerfed Randy with this move. They have had some good storylines coming from the tegridy farm but they are milking that farm for everything its got. I have a theory that Matt and Trey want to end South Park but they don’t know how to do it without the fanbase going mad and harrassing them for just one more season, like a stoner that always wants to to smoke but saying they can quit anytime. So they are now just giving the show a reason to end and if people ask them to come back they say “so you guys do want more tegridy farms?” I think they want to focus on other creative ventures
