Planning a half day trip to Stevensons Falls tomorrow via Black Spur Drive.

Anywhere else we should stop? Special emphasis on nature/forests as they’re practically my wife’s natural habitat and favourite places.

(we have ruled out Redwood Forest due to road closure)

I hate those things! 2 of my former workplaces did them. Usually the kind of places where if the management have an issue with your work they’ll hope that you say it so they won’t have to. You’ll probably ace it though. Towards the end I was so sick of them that I’d just brag for half an hour.

I have a really great relationship with my boss so I’m sure it will be fine! I just hate the whole process around self-scoring, having to talk yourself up, ugh.

I used to hate talking myself up. I was raised that boasting or “having tickets on yourself” was arrogant and conceited. Then I went out into the real world where you have to kind of promote and market yourself in order to gain employment. Was terrible at it for a long time lol.

Temp tomorrow tops at 18. It’s July. This is not natural.

We have fucked our planet beyond repair. I’m sorry, but conservatism is not only wrong, it’s dangerous now, because soon climate change is going to kill tens, if not hundreds of millions of people.

I would say that’s petty high for July. Usually it does get a little warmer in July but maybe between 13 - 15c. Our record high in July has been 21.
