It very likely wasn’t going anywhere. Because if he had a case Boeing could have quietly settled before the initial trial.

To be fair only the first was a surprise mysterious suicide.
The second was sick for years and died because of that.

This is not correct, he was in normal health until after he became a whistleblower and then he got MRSA and died in 2 weeks.
That shit happens, that’s almost exactly how one of my grandparents died but minus the whistleblower part.
Yeah it’s pretty low odds though.
