    The thing is when we fret about riots we always picture riots of the past when overall populations were lower, countries didn’t have too many deeply interlocked financial interests, and technology was less sophisticated. In a developed country of 300 million people to keep stable with an exceptionally high tech military, any major attempts at rioting will still end up a comparative whimper that soon gets either subdued by institutional forces focused on maintaining predictable markets above all, or have their rage diverted by content made by self-interested private org grifters.
