I wish there would be more Edgerunners type releases where it’s a companion piece rather than a direct adaptation which allows for way more creative freedom and less burden of being compared.
Yeah. Master Chief isn’t really meant to anchor a show anyway. The obvious move would have been to give us a separate batch of Spartans and have the chief and a few Nobles make cool cameo appearances.

That’s kinda what Forward Unto Dawn was for Halo 4. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the whole thing, but the MC intro scene is pretty fuckin badass.
