So he can track locations even if the shot is of someone sitting in a room in front of a white wall?

Your question is asking if someone can be found by this guy even if there is minimal information about the location.

My example is one showing how even with very little information, someone can be found.

So i guess… it has everything to do with what you said.

I was questioning OP’s hysterical take that he could find Russian spies with his skills. If there’s a photo of someone somewhere you know is a spy, you don’t need a geo guesser anymore. I was just pointing out how idiotic his teenage thought process was.

Oh! I took it as a joke, but reading it back, i see it can be read both ways. If OP was being serious, then they need a reality check.

Not to diminish that geoguessers ability. Ive seen a bunch of his videos, and it is crazy how good he is at identifying things like architecture, roads, grass, trees, signs, electrical infrastructure, etc. If there was anything but a white wall behind the person they are trying to find, then this is the guy i would ask.

Observe how the wall reflects sunlight : the paint gives off a blueish shine caused by a tiny amount of lead in it, around 3-5% -this is consistent with paints made in the URSS until 1985 and sold throughout central Asia. The paint strokes go in a NW-to-SE diagonal which indicates a preference of the painter for right-to-left script. We’re in Tadjikistan.
