I’ve not had any long-term effects from acid yet. Did you take large doses? Most I’ve done was 200ug

As someone who has taken high doses of psilocybin while also being depressed, I’d like to declare shenanigans on this particular study. It fucked me up a lot and not in a good way at all.

Overall I’d say I’m past the majority of what I experienced those times. Granted I’m still depressed, but that’s more down to life circumstances and the current world at large. But thanks for the kind words. Idk how you came across this post 6 months later lol, but that’s the beauty of the internet. I still don’t get why I got downvoted all crazy, but people on here are a bit ridiculous from time to time.

How’d did I find it? Lol… got banned from Reddit for suggesting that the French should take the statue of Liberty back and instead send some decorative guillotines. Reddit is worse than Digg ever was at this point.

Glad to hear you were able to get past the added instability, depression sucks. I started off with psychedelics as an adjunct to regular therapy for PTSD and depression. I found- low to mid dose DMT helpful in particular- allowed me to briefly experience a state of " existential lightness". This brief brake from the perpetual sense of dread allows me to connect with hope for a different way of being.

These days I do a mix of non-dual and single focus meditation practice. And it has been very helpful to all my symptoms.

Wish you luck on your journey.

Because your one anecdotal point of uncorroborated experience is somehow more than enough to invalidate the 811 sample size of the actual, controlled study.

Self-diagnosed depression? Self-administered psilocybin? Come back and let us know when you can have psychiatrist on-hand for evaluation and accurately measured doses of pure psilocybin, you know, like an actual scientific study. Actually, it still wouldn’t matter as one data point is effectively meaningless. I’m sorry you fucked yourself up a lot in a bad way, but that doesn’t mean this study is invalid.
