      The salary of a VP is $284,600. His net worth will increase, but not by an absurd amount.

      I don’t see how that’s relevant, he won’t be VP of any country but the USA. However things work in the country you live in, take it up with your own leaders. And maybe bite your tongue about other countries’ politics if you neither understand or are affected by them.
