I left the country on suprise work orders 2 weeks in and smothered the connection I had with my friend turned partner in the crib.
Took three months of further anguish and very limited contact to rip the bandaid off.
I have learned nothing from this experience and am about to rebound.

Besides distance friction, I had options in a lot of ways that she didn’t. Was never all that communicative over text, which became a critical issue when I flew out. Was also pretty racist against South Asians.
