And on the otherside if Harris wins, they get to sleep at night saying “I helped” without really having done or risked anything in response to a prior life of being actively driving or at leeway complicity with the root cause of the problem.
Two things can be true, they can still owe a lifetime of penance for their atrocious past actions (active or passive participation) AND they can start operating on the side of good for the rest of their lives to hopefully, eventually do more good than harm.
