The key is that they don’t have to, but they very well may, as elsewhere it’s puzzling how they’d interact with the world around them at all. Tenno may or may not die at any given time, but keep in mind that because they’re unified into a single superposition of all their alternate versions, their death is final regardless of eternalism.
