I have an addictive personality for everything but not gambling somehow. Binge drinking, drug taking, video game playing all very addictive but a slot machine I’ll put in £10 cash out £12 then ride that high for weeks and not touch a slot machine for 5 years. I only consider it winning if the casino is losing

I quite like generous f2p friendly gachas like the hoyo ones. It lets me get the little thrill of a gamble without spending any money. You just need to exercise patience and self control; it helps to know that if you miss a character, they’ll be power crept in a couple patches anyway.
