Sure with software the company can just prevent you from using their product. But a physical item such as a vehicle? Please. Besides GM was order to allow people to opt-out. They can’t force data collection on you like Google can.

A car dealer is not going to pass up a sale because the customer won’t agree to the manufacturer collecting and selling the customers data.
