After 15 months of genocide - and resistance to it - the Israeli regime realized that they could not win a military victory against Hamas, and were forced to sign a humiliating ceasefire in order to get their hostages returned.
With much of Syria under the control of Al-Qaeda, and an increasing level of covert infiltration into Lebanon, the crisis in the Middle East is not over, and we may still be in its beginning stages, as the center of hegemony continues its gradual shift away from the United States. Their navy, once considered the best in the world, is likely also not very happy about their ships and aircraft carriers being forced to retreat by Yemen, one of the poorest countries; and all eyes are on Iran, who has, over the last year and a half, demonstrated a newfound confidence and strength to directly strike Israel.
The recovery for Gaza will take, at a minimum, decades; it could indeed never fully recovery to even how it was before, considering it is not in Israel’s interests to see their concentration camps recover. But Hamas has proven to be steadfast and the tunnel network has proven its resilience, despite facing some of the most powerful conventional bombing in history. This shows that Palestine’s liberation is a when, not an if; and hopefully a much sooner “when” than expected before October 7th.

Donald Trump in fiery call with Denmark’s prime minister over Greenland. Hexbear post
Donald Trump insisted he was serious in his determination to take over Greenland in a fiery telephone call with Denmark’s prime minister, according to senior European officials.
The US president spoke to Mette Frederiksen, the Danish premier, for 45 minutes last week. The White House has not commented on the call but Frederiksen said she had emphasised that the vast Arctic island — an autonomous part of the kingdom of Denmark — was not for sale, while noting America’s “big interest” in it.
Five current and former senior European officials briefed on the call said the conversation had gone very badly.
Slovak Opposition Plans a ‘Color Revolution’, PM Fico Warns - Telesur English
Article
On Friday, protesters could occupy government buildings, call for a national strike, or confront security forces. On Thursday, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico accused the opposition of planning subversive acts, ahead of protests scheduled for this Friday in more than 20 cities against his pro-Russian policies.
“Someone is openly saying that they are sending people across Slovakia who are connected to opposition parties, NGOs, and the media, and that it is necessary to use public disobedience, start occupying government buildings, and obstruct the work of the government,” he said, warning that protesters could occupy government buildings, call for a national strike, or confront security forces in a form of ‘Color Revolution’ to overthrow him.
The Western-backed opposition ridiculed the accusations and criticized the prime minister for attempting to criminalize peaceful protests and thus discourage citizen participation by creating a climate of fear.
Fico’s accusations are based on a report from the Slovak Intelligence Services (SIS), which was presented behind closed doors in Parliament on Tuesday. The SIS uncovered an operation to destabilize Slovakia, according to a report based on messages generated by ChatGPT for the NGO “Not In Our Town.”
Founded in 2013, this non-governmental organization called for ideas to mobilize non-violently against the government, and ChatGPT suggested protests and blockades of public buildings to demand respect for the law, reject ties with Russia, and maintain the country’s pro-European orientation.
However, the NGO denied any conspiracy or illegal acts, clarifying that the plans were drafted using ‘ChatGPT’ and publicly sent to about a hundred organizations participating in the protests.
Following the SIS report, President Peter Pellegrini convened a State Security Council meeting for today, which decided not to take preventive measures, such as increasing surveillance of official premises. “We call on citizens not to be manipulated into breaking the constitutional order,” Fico urged.
The leader of the opposition party ‘Progressive Slovakia,’ Michal Šimečka, criticized Fico’s comments about alleged subversive activities and labeled the SIS report a “dangerous parody.” As a result of the SIS report, however, the political opposition chose to withdraw the motion of no confidence against the Fico administration that was to be processed on Tuesday. This legislative action will be resumed in the future.
The pro-European opposition has called for protests against the government on Friday in the capital Bratislava and more than twenty cities in the EU and NATO member country since 2004.

Politico: State Department issues immediate, widespread pause on foreign aid
It appears to go further than President Donald Trump’s recent executive order, which instructed the department to pause foreign aid grants for 90 days pending review by the secretary. It had not been clear from the president’s order if it would affect already appropriated funds or Ukraine aid.
Still, the document leaves room for interpretation and does provide some exceptions. It specifies that foreign military financing for Egypt and Israel will continue and allows emergency food assistance and “legitimate expenses incurred prior to the date of this” guidance “under existing awards.” At points, it also says the decisions need to be “consistent with the terms of the relevant award.”
One current State Department official, plus two former Biden administration officials, said the pause appears to stop aid to key allies such as Ukraine, Jordan and Taiwan. These officials were granted anonymity to discuss sensitive internal government documents.
Stopping aid to Ukraine and Taiwan is pretty huge, even if temporary. Would be nice if Israel was included, but that would be silly to expect.

The Kivu conflict has been ongoing for more than 20 years at this point. M23 previously held Goma in 2012 before a ceasefire. It seems like no state is truly in control of the eastern DRC as M23 is backed by Rwanda, while the UN has claimed the DRC is arming non-state militias inside Kivu province to fight back. In a similar fashion to the Myanmar Civil War there are so many active groups here it feels impossible to keep track of alliances and controlled territory.

New Party Joins Crowded Field On Denmark’s Far Right
Denmark, long a bastion of far-right politics, may see a new fascist grouping enter its rubber-stamp parliament. The so-called “Citizens’ Party,” founded in August last year by MP Lars Boje Mathiesen, has secured the 20,000 voter endorsements needed for ballot access. A recent opinion poll places the party dangerously close to the 2 percent threshold required to gain parliamentary seats, with a projected 1.8 percent share of the vote.
Mathiesen, a former chairman of the now-collapsed New Right party, is notorious for his extremist views. After being expelled from his previous party only 30 days after being elected chairman—over demands for an exorbitant salary—he has been unwelcome in any other parties and has not been affiliated with any parliamentary group. Despite his toxic reputation, Mathiesen appears to have rallied disaffected supporters of Denmark’s other far-right factions, such as the Danish People’s Party.
The Citizens’ Party positions itself as a party with no ideology but embraces the hallmarks of the libertarian variant of standard contemporary European fascism, promising less government, more “direct democracy,” and reduced taxes on car owners. Mathiesen himself has expressed admiration for Donald Trump’s racist and reactionary politics, though he criticizes Trump’s embrace of tariffs. His past misogynistic remarks completes the picture of a vile and hateful reactionary.
The Nordic hermit kingdom has been steeped in reactionary politics for decades, with racist and reactionary ideologies becoming mainstream since the 1990s, a development pushed by a political elite eagerly fanning the flames of reaction to further their own ambitions.
Mathiesen’s demands for a post-election regime includes prosecuting current Social Democrat leader Mette Frederiksen for her unconstitutional culling of mink during the COVID pandemic—a promise that was also issued by the Liberal and Moderate parties leading up to the 2022 general election, only to be abandoned post-election to enable them to join a coalition with Frederiksen’s Social Democrats.
The poll hints at an unstable future for Denmark’s current regime. The parties forming the increasingly unpopular Social Democrat-led right-wing regime is poised to lose their majority, plunging from 50.1 percent of the vote in the last election to just 32.7 percent. Without the Citizens’ Party in parliament, a coalition of Social Democrats reaching across the aisle to centrist and moderate pro-democracy factions could still emerge, that is if the Social Democrats has any appetite for working with their traditional pro-democracy and centrist coalition partners, instead of seeking another right-wing constellation. However, if Mathiesen’s grouping crosses the threshold, a far-right coalition becomes increasingly likely, especially if the pro-democracy Alternative Party fails to clear the 2 percent barrier.

Does Donald Trump telling Netanyahu he has to sign a ceasefire with Hamas, at least temporarily, prove that Israel doesn’t have as much “blackmail” leverage over US politicians as some people think? Trump was BFF’s with Epstein, they would have to have a ton of it on him. Or does it just mean that there is nothing you could release that would actually hurt Trump?
An American company wants to build a luxury bunker in Virginia by 2026 for 625 of the world’s richest people in the event of a global catastrophe, the Daily Mail reports. The entrance fee is $20 million, the project price is $300 million. The shelter will provide medical care based on artificial intelligence, the ability to retire and “do business”, and, if necessary, close yourself in a special capsule for additional security. There will be luxury restaurants, an indoor pool, cold bath centers, IV therapy rooms, a bowling alley and a climbing wall.
The bunker is located near the White House, but project leaders insist that this is a coincidence and has nothing to do with current global tensions.

Ansarullah Rejects U.S. Terrorist Designation, Calls It a Badge of Honor - Telesur English
Article
The Yemeni resistance movement Ansarullah, widely recognized for its staunch support for Palestine and opposition to Zionism, has rejected the terrorist designation imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump just hours after he assumed office. Nasr al-Din Amer, the deputy press director of Ansarullah, denounced the U.S. administration for targeting Yemen due to its unwavering support for Gaza, framing the move as direct backing for Zionism.
“The designation as a terrorist organization is an honor for us and a testament to Yemen’s integral role in the fight against Israeli occupation,” Amer declared. Amer dismissed the potential impact of the designation, pointing out that Ansarullah has no investments, bank accounts, or business dealings within the U.S., and its fighters do not travel to the country.
He also quipped that being labeled a U.S. ally would pose far greater risks and be much more provocative than being branded a terrorist organization. The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement condemned the U.S. decision, asserting that it reflects Washington’s bias toward Israel.
“This confirms that the United States is a key partner in the ethnic cleansing and genocide committed by Zionist criminals in Gaza,” the movement stated. The Mujahideen Movement praised the Yemenis for their solidarity with the resistance in Gaza and described Trump’s designation as “a badge of honor and proof that they are on the right path.”
President Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday re-designating Ansarullah as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization.” This marks the second time the U.S. has applied this label to the group; Trump initially imposed the designation during his first term (2017–2021). However, former President Joe Biden removed Ansarullah from the list during his administration (2021–2025). The new designation is set to take effect within 30 days.
Since November 2023, Ansarullah has intensified its actions in support of Gaza, targeting Israeli military and strategic assets. These operations have included strikes on occupied Palestinian territories and attacks on Israeli-flagged ships or vessels supplying Israel. The strikes have occurred in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and surrounding areas.
The decision by the Trump administration has drawn criticism from regional actors who view it as an extension of U.S. support for Israel’s policies in Palestine. It also risks further escalating tensions in Yemen and the broader Middle East, where Ansarullah has positioned itself as a key opponent of Zionism and U.S. influence.
Ansarullah’s defiance underscores the group’s resolve to continue its resistance against what it perceives as oppressive forces, framing the U.S. designation as a symbol of its commitment to Palestine and the broader anti-Zionist struggle.
