    Explanation: The British East India Company was a British corporation which, in the 1700s and 1800s, managed to worm itself into power over most of the Indian subcontinent, ruling over Indian kings and princes - including a company army that was larger than the actual British army. Talk about regulatory capture!

          It doesn’t really matter, the Dutch east India company did the same as the British one, only in Indonesia. They too had their own army and we’re setting the laws there.

          Hehe, we got the idea from the British though and are now salty anytime they are mentioned the OG company name.
