    He’s creating an environment of financial uncertainty over his trade partners to drive away investors from them.

    Except he doesn’t seem to realize he’s also creating uncertainty around his own country as well. Everyone else will still get investments to develop trade with any country that isn’t the US.

      There’s a theory where he’s crashing the market on purpose, so he and his friends can buy at a lower price and get richer. Just like it happened during covid.

    Adding uncertainty is one of the worst things you can do to an economy. But voters elected Trump because they see him better for the economy.

    Sometimes I wish there were no direct elections because people are just too stupid to understand even basic concepts of economics.

      Agreed, the US needed electoral reform 20 years ago. I mean, there is no perfect system but other democracies are a lot more kid proofed than the USA
