Perhaps it is the issue of control? Locking inconvenient subjects, like you just have done in this “your new community”?
minus-squareBlaze (he/him) @lemmy.dbzer0.comOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·edit-22 months agoI’m the only mod and I have to go, based on the history, I wanted to avoid coming back to a thread full of drama like the ones I linked in that post. I’m going to find mods in the coming days. I’ll also reopen that thread when I’m back. So, it is OK for you to do that but not for others, yes? Are those others providing most of the content on one topic for the whole platform? On top of that, I’m not a mod on !buyeuropean@feddit.uk

Are those others providing most of the content on one topic for the whole platform? Your point is? I’m not a mod on !buyeuropean@feddit.uk Are you a mod to “ask Lemmy”? No? This is why you created alternative community to it?
minus-squareBlaze@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·2 months agoIt’s kind of ironic, because I can just use all the arguments people threw at me recently about !buyeuropean@feddit.uk and !buyfromeu@feddit.org it’s fine to have several communities on the same topic if you don’t like it, you can just ignore it the mod team decided to keep it open, so it’s their right
