The difference is that Israelis have no basis to stand on. They are a settler colony of which every “historic fact” is faked. Their argument consists of :

• Straight up lying.
• Lying more
• Lying and calling it Hasbara
• Making the US president lie for them
• lying lying, and more lying.

Russia stans however do have real arguments to stand on. Despite me not agreeing that they give Russia the right to annex Ukraine.
