If I was to cope hard it would be that he’s critical of the idea that the Arab nations were coming to the aid of Arab Palestinians in 1948 and onwards, to the point of calling them imperialists. And he also seemed to suggest a unitary confederation of Arabs and Jews, not unlike post-apartheid Africa. Being 1986 it predates a lot of the horrors.
