Since day 1 of using it my partner says he could tell a huge difference in energy levels. He also doesn’t sweat during the night anymore, which I assume was due to his heart trying to pound out of his chest because he wasnt breathing. Sleep apnea can wreak havoc on your heart, I would really encourage you to seek treatment

Absolutely you should. This thing is life changing and I would never do without again.

Before getting a CPAP I was reluctant because I knew it would entail daily maintenance and would limit where I could sleep (need electricity).

After I got it, all of those things were still true but what I didn’t factor in was how much better I felt everyday and how small of a price the extra routine was for the huge return in quality of life.

In pre-cpap times I’d need 9-10 hours to come close to feeling normal, and with the gift of hindsight I can tell you that the difference between a good night of sleep then vs now, it’s not even close.

      Get the sleep study/CPAP

      Full throated endorsement. Yes.

It has been a motherfucker for me to adapt to, but the nights i dont use it, the next day is fucking garbage; cant think, lethargic.

I dont like it frankly, but i like not breathing even less so CPAP it is.
