As far as I understand, that’s just a new compression algorithm that uses artificial intelligence techniques to get better compression. I don’t think artificially generated textures are here yet
Try to compress the audio? Or bundle 1080p textures with an AI model that generates the 8k upscaled during loading screens. There is no other way

Yes, but this is something else. I’m not gonna pretend I understand that article but it’s supposed to cut down on memory and storage use
