Not just cuz I like vampires, but also they’re both made by directors who clearly really love and appreciate the film-making craft and both made original and interesting films, that both just happen to be about vampires.
Plus people have been pretty doomer about mainstream movie tastes, what with people gobbling up slop like the Minecraft Movie, but it’s nice that there’s still plenty of people who will check out something interesting and new if it’s pitched to them right.
Nosferatu is a remake, not original. But yeah it was pretty decent.

i haven’t seen sinners yet, but i’m excited to see what happens if Coogler gets to make an X-Files reboot. i saw fruitvale station a couple weeks ago, and that was an excellent debut film.
