My take on the entire thing as a Canadian - not worth sending a negotiating team. Not worth responding to. Not worth doing business with.
They don’t honour the deals they sign. They are not held to account by congress or any functional court or rule of law or international trade body. They don’t act rationally or in their self interest.
The US can now be defined as a rogue state and an irrational actor. The best move Canada can make is away from the US entirely.
