Education secretary says top-up support for subjects including media must be scaled back because of ‘extremely challenging’ fiscal environment

Education secretary Bridget Phillipson told the sector regulator on Monday that capital spending would be almost halved in 2025-26 to £84mn from a multiyear settlement equivalent to an annual allocation of £150mn.

    Well, sometimes bad things happen to racist societies.

    It seems that they are so anti-immigrant, that “immigration reforms would make it more difficult to attract high fee-paying international students.” Thus part of the reason for losing money to pay for programs.

    Notice it’s journalism that would be cut. The one thing that would help dispel the misinformation campaigns that led to Brexit.

    Also, taxing the ultra rich would help fund school programs.
