I know Marxists addressed that 100 years ago and have written tons of theory about it, but Animal Farm is deep political theory too if you think about it.

    I know that animals have thrived based on cooperation since before humans existed, and actually all of human societal existence at all can be traced back directly to cooperation, but we can ignore all of that and just say that it’s human nature anyway because vibes!

      Sometimes we don’t cooperate though. Sometimes we murder. Especially when compelled by external forces. But not always. But definitely sometimes.

      Therefore since our behavior can vary wildly depending on circumstance I’m just going to decide the violent stuff is the human nature stuff because it comforts my ideology.
