The CBO has estimated at least 15 million people would lose health care coverage due to the bill’s cuts to Medicaid.

I wish the media wasn’t so complicit with using the right wing propaganda names for things.

They’re actually big fans of wealth redistribution. They just believe that it should be even less equitable than it already is.

These people are straight up evil, like cartoon villain evil. There isn’t an argument.

Millions of people with, at that point, nothing left to lose…

    I’m sure that’ll end swimmingly.

Saw a finer tuned graph earlier. The very middle gets a slight tax break. And that’s all it takes to keep the GOP in power. The very center will see a couple of hundred extra bucks on their tax return, and I do mean a just a couple, and say, “See! Republicans came through for us!” These are people like me who wouldn’t even notice a few hundred dollars out of a year’s salary.

Even the poorer get a slight break, at the cost of losing their medical. But even those dumbshits will see a couple of hundred more and rejoice. And Fox will spin that as Democrats taking health from them. And they will believe it.

And no one questions for a second how and why the rich get even bigger breaks. Notice they stopped talking “trickle down” a decade or three past? All anyone cares about is themselves, and that’s why we are here.

By the time any politicians pay the electoral price, the oligarchs will already have taken all the money.
