For example:
- ibis.wiki: !wiki@ibis.wiki
- open.ibis.wiki: !wiki@open.ibis.wiki
Articles are posted to those communities from the respective Ibis instance by @wikibot@<instance-domain>
. If an article isn’t present on your instance, you can try forcing federation by searching its URI on your Lemmy instance.
Whoaa that rules!!! What a great idea!
PieFed has a built-in wiki system, but I would imagine it’s probably not editable if you’re a community mod from a Lemmy instance (and vice versa). I wonder if Ibis could replace ours, or at least be interoperable with it?
EDIT: As expected, I could pull up the linked wiki through a Lemmy account but not a PieFed one. Also vice versa, I could pull up a PieFed wiki from within PieFed but in Lemmy it opens as a webpage.
Feel free to open an issue for federation between Piefed and Ibis, at least in theory it should work. The wikis in Piefed are not federated.
