No shit. They were calling for peace talks for about 3 years and now that they’re steadily advancing and your sponsor is pulling your funding you want a ceasefire?

How would they justify it to their people (and the soldiers) after the escalations of the past few months, including the drone attacks on apartment blocks?

Ukraine NATO version of a ceasefire proposal is so Ukraine can dig new defensive lines, and let western weapons production catch up with donations. Conducting terrorist operations day before meetings doesn’t put Russia in a good mood either.

Zelensky power/bribery clinging does not bring peace to Ukraine any time soon.

Well maybe they shouldn’t have gotten in bed with the US/NATO in the first place, not exactly shedding a tear for the nazis over here

I’m not going to debate whatever you have to say. You are clearly misinformed.

But since you like Russian (dis)information so much, perhaps you should read the russian book called foundations of geopolitics. Specifically the section on Ukraine.

The Foundations of Geopolitics was written by a fascist who is more popular with European & American fascists than with his own government or people.

Maybe you should read The Grand Chessboard—written by someone who had actual influence in US government geostrategy—specifically the sections on Ukraine and the eastern expansion of NATO.

To be clear, I support Ukraine and Ukrainian sovereignty. I do not believe that Ukraine is run by Nazis or fascists.

I’m very much aware who Alexander durgan is. My point was that this urgently required special military operation has been a pre-planned eugenist and fascist operation that has been planned by the Russian government since the '90s. You know 35 years. Kind of invalidates the whole idea that Russia is only reacting to on the ground facts and movements.

Ukraine (except Western Ukraine) should be annexed by Russia because “Ukraine as a state has no geopolitical meaning, no particular cultural import or universal significance, no geographic uniqueness, no ethnic exclusiveness, its certain territorial ambitions represents an enormous danger for all of Eurasia and, without resolving the Ukrainian problem, it is in general senseless to speak about continental politics”. Ukraine should not be allowed to remain independent, unless it is cordon sanitaire, which would be inadmissible according to Western political standards. As mentioned, Western Ukraine (comprising the regions of Volynia, Galicia, and Transcarpathia), considering its Catholic-majority population, are permitted to form an independent federation of Western Ukraine but should not be under Atlanticist control.

Foundations of geopolitics excerpt on Ukraine.

You seem to be very confused. I am stating that Dugan has been leading Putins foreign policy because the things that Dugan wrote for the most part have been executed by Putin’s governments.

Dugin is apparently quite popular among Russian brass

Dugan is for a fact speaking completely out of his ass, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s loved and respected and his words are preached across the Russian federation.

I used to know a few moscovites and discuss politics but that was before Ukraine happened

I’m not confused. Dugin is an utter clown whom Putin wouldn’t even give the time of day. He’s not leading shit, except other Western crypto-fascist grifters like Caleb Maupin.

Again, you seem confused. I agree with you that Dugan is a clown. Where I am disagreeing with you is the fact that he is uninfluential. If he was a nut job as you propose and treated as such by his fellow Russians, then his plans would not see the light of day let alone battlefield action.
