Please bear with me, I’m not very tech savvy.
The keyboard seems perfect for me and my needs, tactile orange specifically, white colour, but the fairly bad quality control and issues surrounding it is putting me off, heard it’s guaranteed to start double clicking at some point due to a hardware flaw or something, idk exactly, and Razer doesn’t directly serve in my country (even though their everywhere here) and availability and warranties and what not are super weird for my region as well, so no guarantees I’ll be able to get anything fixed if anything goes wrong months later after a purchase. Worth the gamble or no?
Any alternatives that are very similar to check out? Couldn’t find much as well rounded or fairly available as this one for my needs while searching around.
So I’m stuck with the black version then? No getting around it? 🥲
Ah, gotcha. And again what about the firmware and software? Anything of note I should be aware of?
Some keys are shaped different in the different sizes though, I don’t think I can just grab anything I can find and make it work can I?
Hey, I totally get feeling overwhelmed — there’s a lot of little details with mechanical keyboards, but it doesn’t have to be stressful. Here’s a clear breakdown to help make things easier:
Backlit Keycaps
Swapping Switches & Keycaps
Firmware & Software
Should You Pull the Trigger?
Let me know if you want a list of compatible shine-through keycap sets for that board, and I’ll see what I can find.
Yes please, thx 🙏

Aliexpress (Cheaper but slower shipping)
Tariff prices blow up your shipping charges last time I check on Ali a couple weeks ago.
