Harris says Iran is America's 'greatest adversary,' as Mideast war weighs on U.S. priorities

Harris' choice of Iran, rather than Russia or China, underscores how much the Mideast war has shifted U.S. foreign policy priorities.

Speaking with “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker, Harris was asked which nation she considers “to be our greatest adversary.”

“I think there’s an obvious one in mind, which is Iran,” Harris replied. “Iran has American blood on their hands. This attack on Israel, 200 ballistic missiles.”

“What we need to do to ensure that Iran never achieves the ability to be a nuclear power, that is one of my highest priorities,” she added.

Whitaker followed up, asking, “If Iran is building a nuclear weapon, would you take military action?”

“I’m not going to talk about hypotheticals at this moment,” said the vice president.

So Iran building nuclear weapons was the greatest adversary and also a hypothetical. very-smart

Libs hate the very idea of bombing Iran now though.

        Trump is not selling federal lands to real estate developers. If you had a political memory that held more than the past two weeks of r/politics threads, you would know that is a long-term goal of libertarians going back to, at least, the 70s. You know what else was a thing in the 70s? Fucking with Iran. All this stuff Trump does is just shit other ghouls bring to his desk. He’s not personally coming up with these ideas.

        If having Democrat presidents is the key to stop this long-term plan, why the fuck hasn’t it been stopped? Let’s just go with Obama. What did Obama do to stop this? He let a militia hold federal land and get away with it. What did Clinton do? What did Carter do? How come voting for Democrats didn’t work all this time but Kamala would have been the one to do it? Did she say anything during the campaign about bolstering the protection of federal lands? Did you write her a letter asking what her plans were since your hiking trails are the only thing keeping you alive?

        Now apply this to every fucking issue. Healthcare, drugs, crime, war, immigration. Somehow the most recent Democratic nominee was the key to stopping all the bad shit in the world but none of the previous Democratic presidents bear any blame for not stopping it earlier. I didn’t even bring up Biden, the most recent Democratic president, because he did NOTHING. He was a husk in a chair, staring out of the window the whole time. So even when Kamala was VP, she didn’t do shit to help federal lands. Fuck you.

        Also, if having access to federal land is the only thing keeping you alive, buy a gun and go defend it. You have nothing to lose. You either get to keep access to the land or you die, which you were going to do anyways.
