    Indeed, indeed. But if you live in America, you should know that legal immigrants who attend protests are having their green cards rescinded, then their legal status removed, and then abducted by ICE. By the time they get to you, there will be no one left to protest.

    Trying to drum up an army by spamming a public call to action seems worse than over moderating your own instance. I doubt you’re much better than those you wish to criticize.

      It’s not spamming when I’m documenting wholly separate incidences, after all, if dessalines wasn’t using their power and influence to enforce a political narrative through censorship and propaganda spreading so much, I wouldn’t be able to post much of it now would I?

          And? For one, there’s PieFed and Mbin and if it wasn’t Lemmy there would have been something else that would have come along.

          For two, someone doing good work does not give them a free pass to be shitty in other areas. You can praise one for good work in one thing and criticize them for the bad things they’re doing in another.
