    With Democrats being a big tent party I wouldn’t bee too surprised that there’s a conservative wing to it

      More than a “wing,” since they control the vast majority of it. Everyone else (with any power) are little more than small offshoots.

      the dems are a conservative party with a vanishingly small “progressive” wing
