    It wouldn’t be the first time I heard something like that about hyundai and kia. The expensive european brands even set you up with features like seat-heating that are locked under a subscription. Then there are privacy issues and in some cases security issues as well with a lot of modern cars.

      Luckily my car is too old to be kia-boyed but that’s why they had the “security” “installed”
