Ah the oil change light, or “The Too Late Light”, as the Australian Nugget Man would describe it. Car’s toast.

I saw something similar to this once. I think it was just a computer error. Couldn’t start the car, all the lights came on. I pulled the key out, waited five minutes, car started with a check engine light.

In some cars all lights light up before starting so you see the light actually works. I do chuckle when I see my shitty Citroën doing it because I almost expect it to be real

There are two modes for an engine light. Constantly lit means there is some code, many of them not serious and just maintenance. Blinking means pull over and stop the engine to avoid (more) severe damage. So I think you’re fine here, none of these are blinking.

Correction: there are four modes for an engine light. On, blinking, burned out, or tape over it.

My old car’s CEL was the interior ambient lighting. It was a dim warm tone and it was just an evap leak so I didn’t want to fix it

What are the two next to the low tire one? Also the cold one? Can an engine be too cold? Is that a real problem ppl face outside of the Arctic?

Yeah engines can be cold. Mine is on every time I start the car. Modern cars you don’t really need to worry about a cold engine unless maybe you are on the track.

The one says off next to squiggly lines so that means drunk driving is off. The one next to it with just squiggly lines means drunk driving is enabled. Both on at the same time means some other substance is imparing the driver
