Biking around town can be such a nice feeling of freedom.
My favorite feeling is when I get to my house but decide to keep riding for a bit just for the pure joy of it

The (second) battery on my smartmotion essence died and they’re so expensive I probably can’t justify replacing it but I also can’t afford replacing the whole bike and I miss my favourite form of exercise and my best form of transportation ;-;

Recently got a cargo e-bike and damn that thing has given me cycling back. Spend more time on my non-e-bike now as well.
Hell ya that’s what I’m hoping to accomplish! I want to get back on to my analog bike
Just curious, have your transportation habits changed? e.g. I used bus everywhere but now the bike calls every time I need to go somewhere.

Been seein this girl and we biked around town for a date on Wednesday. I don’t have an ebike, just a couple of hand me down bikes that i got for free. I live in a great little rural college town that is perfect for biking so i am gonna keep at it until i can ride all day

Mine was a such a small school and everyone lived on campus, and campus was a 5 minute walk from all the bars.

Years ago I figured out a way to get to work where I could take my ebike and a quick subway ride instead of my car. It’s so much better. I can’t go back. I also need to just bike around town and enjoy it as a hobby rather than a commute.
I just got myself a used hybid a couple months ago after a decade of not having a bike and it’s been great. Now I’m working on fixing up a vintage road bike I got for free.
tinkering with vintage road bikes is a great hobby!
