minus-squareHiddenLychee@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up15·2 days agoAlways bothered me. Means that anyone who can’t improv well is locked to low char characters.
minus-squarehayvan@feddit.nllinkfedilinkarrow-up17·2 days agoNot with that attitude. When I dm id accept some uhm-ing, erm-ing fumbling players as buttery smooth talkers if they have the rolls.
minus-squareWorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 day agoSo…you go to bed with them if they roll a 20? Irl?
minus-squareWorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.todaylinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 day agoWell, it was a joke…imagine ducking someone who said something cringe, just because they rolled a 20. I guess who am I to say no?
minus-squarefaythofdragons@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·1 day agoI mean, my partner of 15 years started as a fling who accidentally lit himself on fire trying to do a party trick before I decided to sleep with him.
minus-squarefaythofdragons@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 day agoI’ll be saying that when we hit 69 years together
minus-squarefaythofdragons@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·1 day agoFix what? He’s always been great, haha.
minus-squareKairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 day agoThe burns, did you fix the burns?
minus-squareaeshna_cyanea@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·1 day agoWell playing dnd is a good low stakes way to improve.
minus-squareKairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 day agoUnless you are uncomfortable with the situation and it ruins the game for you, sure.
minus-squareits_kim_love@lemmy.blahaj.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·11 hours agoMaybe charisma builds just aren’t for you.
minus-squarelazyViking@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·edit-222 hours agoIf roleplaying ruins the game for you, maybe a roleplaying game is not for you
minus-squareKairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·13 hours agoThere’s a major difference between “roll at least a 16 and you’ll have seduced the guard” and “seduce me to seduce the guard.” Different people are comfortable with different things. If you’re fine seducing your DM, cool. But I certainly wouldn’t be.
