"Netanyahu’s decision to keep the Rafah crossing closed until further notice constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and a denial of the commitments he made to mediators and guarantor parties.

The continued closure of Rafah Crossing — preventing the evacuation of the wounded and sick, blocking the movement of civilians in both directions, and obstructing the entry of equipment needed to search for those trapped under the rubble and to identify bodies — will delay recovery and handover operations.

The occupation’s ongoing violations and attacks — more than 47 documented breaches so far, resulting in 38 martyrs and 143 wounded — once again reveal its aggressive intentions and its continued siege on over two million Palestinians in Gaza. Netanyahu is fabricating pretexts to stall the agreement and evade his obligations.

We call on the mediators and guarantor parties to act urgently to pressure the occupation to immediately reopen Rafah Crossing, abide by all terms of the agreement, and end its ongoing crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip."
